**Press Brake Operator - Batavia, IL** **1st and 2nd shift** **$22-$24/hr** **Job Description** Candidates will be running a press brake machine to bend the parts to the correct angles. The machines will be set up for the production run, so candidates will just need to be able to line the part up in the machine and run it to create the bend in the part. They will then look at the blueprints and measure to ensure the quality of the parts that they are producing. 90% of the job will be on the press brake, but other duties can include doing assembly of products and running other machinery in the plant such as sand blasters, automatic welders, and lasers. **Responsibilities** + Operate a press brake machine to bend parts to the correct angles + Line up parts in the machine and run it to create bends + Inspect parts using blueprints and measuring tools to ensure quality + Perform assembly of products + Operate other machinery in the plant, including sand blasters, automatic welders, and lasers **Essential Skills** + 1-2 years of operating a press brake + Experience reading blueprints + Experience using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers + Inspection skills **Work Environment** The company is not temperature controlled. It gets warm in the hot summer months, especially near the paintline. The rest of the plant has a mild climate and is a standard manufacturing floor. There is noise from the machines, but it isn't overly loud.
