**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The primary responsibilities for this role include setting up and operating CNC Press Brake machines (Amada, Cincinnati, Trumpf) for sheet metal fabrication. The Machine Operator will be responsible for tasks such as forming and bending sheet metal, as well as operating punch press and laser machines in a manufacturing and production environment. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate CNC Press Brake machines (Amada, Cincinnati, Trumpf). + Perform sheet metal fabrication, including forming and bending of sheet metal. + Operate punch press and laser machines. + Read and understand specification sheets, blueprints, and work orders. + Layout and load materials using basic math and handheld measuring tools. + Utilize computer output from CAD/CAM systems. + Enter instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches. + Set up mills and lathes. + Maintain machinery in good working order. + Follow re-work procedures and understand finished product characteristics. + Perform lock out/tag out procedures. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of manufacturing experience in a high volume, fast-paced production environment. + Experience in metalworking or hollow metal fabrication is preferred. + Experience with CNC manufacturing equipment. + Proficiency with manufacturing equipment, basic power tools, and machinery. + Ability to read and understand specification sheets, blueprints, and work orders. + Basic math skills and the ability to use handheld measuring tools. + Experience with CAD/CAM systems. + Ability to set up mills and lathes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Knowledge and ability to maintain machinery in good working order. + Understanding of re-work procedures. + Familiarity with lock out/tag out procedures. **Why Work Here?** This is a contract-to-hire position where you will be treated as a permanent employee from day one.
