**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** Machine Operators at a screw/fastener coating company. The first 90 days are through Aerotek, after which you join the union and receive annual raises. **Responsibilities** + Wear required PPE during working hours. + Keep the working area clean. + Set up equipment within 30 minutes. + Prepare material according to specifications (viscosity, thickness) per chart. + Use drying equipment as per guidelines. + Get approval for the first piece inspection from the supervisor, QC manager, or production manager. + Continuously monitor production for quality and fill out hourly quality inspections (at least 3 times per hour). + Maintain production rates; notify the supervisor if unable to meet the standard rate. + Isolate and discard defective parts as instructed by the supervisor or QC. + Re-oil parts if necessary. + Report machine malfunctions and accidents to the supervisor. + Receive tubs with paper or plastic. + Complete all required information on the job traveler (operator initials, date, batch number, inspection results). + Meet daily production targets, including a minimum of 5 small jobs (under 5,000 pcs) per 8-hour shift. + Conduct hourly torque tests on Nylon jobs per IFI 525 standards. + Follow the company’s employee handbook rules. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
