**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** Operate manufacturing equipment in accordance with all relevant work instructions, quality plans, internal policies, etc. Operate forklift and other industrial vehicles in accordance with OSHA safety guidelines and internal policies. Perform quality inspections on incoming products, in-process manufacturing, and finished goods in accordance with relevant work instructions and quality plans. Interact with computer systems as required for production and logistics functions. Initiate, maintain, and improve manufacturing area cleanliness. Maintain a safe, quality, productive, and positive attitude at all times. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently; stand on feet majority of the working hours; use of body and extremities to bend, reach, lower, etc. as part of any relevant manufacturing process or job duties. Must be willing to work all hours required including any shift such as off shift, weekends, holidays, etc. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management. **Responsibilities** + Operate manufacturing equipment according to work instructions and quality plans. + Operate forklift and industrial vehicles following OSHA guidelines. + Perform quality inspections on incoming, in-process, and finished products. + Interact with computer systems for production and logistics functions. + Maintain and improve manufacturing area cleanliness. + Uphold a safe, productive, and positive work environment. + Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. + Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and stand for most of the working hours. + Be flexible to work all required hours, including off shifts, weekends, and holidays. + Perform additional duties as assigned by management. **Essential Skills** + Experience with machine operation, assembly, general labor, packaging, and hand tools. + Proficiency in operating forklifts and tape measures. + Knowledge of CNC, calipers, mechanical machine operation, and quality control. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with CNC or other automated equipment is a plus. + Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (SAP is a strong plus). + Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings. + Proficiency in using measurement hardware such as dial calipers and micrometers. + Ability to use basic hand tools. + Capability to earn and maintain a forklift operator’s license and other industrial vehicle certifications. **Work Environment** You will be part of a world-class supplier of highly engineered fastening solutions for the plate heat exchanger and wind turbine industry.
