**Job Title: Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
Join our team as a Machine Operator, where you will be integral in running the Mill machine that bends metal into pipe form. This role involves changing out metal rolls, troubleshooting, performing minor mechanical repairs, quality checks, and adjustments on the machines. You will also conduct basic preventative maintenance and minor welding tasks. We seek candidates with a strong understanding/experience with troubleshooting, machining, maintenance, mechanics, or fabrication.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate the Mill machine to bend metal into pipe form.
+ Change out metal rolls every 2-12 hours.
+ Troubleshoot and perform minor mechanical repairs and adjustments on the machines.
+ Conduct quality checks on the machines.
+ Perform basic preventative maintenance on the machine.
+ Weld a minor strip to connect the metal (training provided).
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with calipers and micrometers.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
+ Minimum of 2 years' experience in troubleshooting and running machinery.
+ Knowledge of preventive maintenance.
+ Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
+ Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
+ Willingness to learn basic welding and fabrication.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 2 years of maintenance and welding/fabrication experience.
+ Experience in machining, maintenance, mechanics, or fabrication.

**Work Environment**
The plant has roughly 100 employees working across 4 shifts in a non-union shop. It is a safe and friendly workplace. Shifts include: A (M-Th / 5:00am to 5:00pm), B (M-Th / 5:00pm to 5:00am), C (F-Sun / 5:00am to 5:00pm with a $6 premium), and D (F-Sun / 5:00pm to 5:00am with an $8 premium). Training lasts 3-6 months on the first shift (Mon-Thurs 5am-5pm), with occasional Saturday work.
