**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator with experience in machine operation, forklift use, and micrometer/caliper usage. The ideal candidate should have experience operating a band saw and a sit-down forklift. Responsibilities include setting up plate saws, reading measurements, and ensuring accurate material processing. **Responsibilities** + Operate a band saw to cut aluminum. + Operate a sit-down forklift after full training on the plate saw. + Set up plate saw by entering dimensions and material (all aluminum). + Read tape measures, micrometers, and calipers for inspections. + Use an overhead crane to move large pieces of metal upon completion. + Apply metal to customer orders and accurately process material according to work order specifications. + Ensure processing equipment is maintained in a safe and clean condition. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Strong attendance and work history with regards to tenure. + Previous experience using a band saw + Ability and experience operating a sit-down forklift + Must be able to read a tape measure, micrometer, and caliper for inspections **Why Work Here?** Great distribution/warehouse and production environment with opportunities for growth into a water-jet operator role, which comes with a pay raise. The facility has around 6 full-time employees and is growing. PPE is provided, including a hard hat, safety glasses, vest, gloves, sleeves, and steel toes (voucher for Red Wing Shoes).
