Our client, a leading event planning company in Irvine, CA, is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Machine Operator (HP-Latex 700) with Graphic Design expertise to join their dynamic team. This unique role combines the technical proficiency of operating the HP-Latex 700 large-format printer with a strong creative flair for producing exceptional event and decor designs. The ideal candidate will possess both technical skills and artistic insight, ensuring smooth production processes while elevating the visual impact of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain the HP-Latex 700 large-format printer to produce high-quality outputs for event decor, signage, and branding projects.Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations.Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative visual concepts for various event materials and branded designs.Prepare and preflight design files for printing, ensuring color accuracy, resolution, and proper formatting.Manage the material setup process, including media loading and finishing tasks like cutting and lamination.Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure that final products meet design specifications and company standards.Oversee production schedules to meet deadlines, managing multiple projects concurrently while maintaining high standards of quality.Stay current with advancements in printing techniques, materials, and industry trends to enhance production efficiency and creativity.

Qualifications:

Proven experience operating HP-Latex 700 or similar large-format printers.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other graphic design software.Strong understanding of color management and printing processes.Minimum 2-3 years of experience in machine operation and graphic design, ideally in the event, signage, or printing industry.Familiarity with event decor, signage production, and branding materials is a plus.Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a team.Creative problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
