Machine Operator
**Job Title: Machine Operator - STARTING AT $22.20/HR!!!** **Job Description** We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated **Machine Operator** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining multiple SLI casting machines simultaneously, ensuring they remain in optimal working condition. You will perform machine adjustments, prepare molds for production, and handle tasks such as machine set-ups, changeovers, start-ups, shut-downs, and tooling changes. Additionally, you will inspect the parts produced to ensure they meet quality standards and are free from damage. This role operates in a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail, quick problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple machines efficiently. **Responsibilities** + **Operate machines** simultaneously to meet production targets. + **Perform machine adjustments** and set-up machines for different production runs. + **Prepare molds for production** , ensuring they are clean and meet specifications. + Handle **start-ups, shut-downs** , and **tooling changes** as required during production cycles. + Conduct **changeovers** between production runs to minimize downtime and ensure smooth transitions. + **Inspect produced parts** to ensure no damage, defects, or quality issues. + Troubleshoot minor machine issues to prevent disruptions in production. + Maintain a **clean and organized workspace** , following safety protocols and company guidelines. + **Work efficiently** in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on safety and quality. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** **MUST HAVES:** + Minimum of **2 years of manufacturing experience** , preferably with **machine operation** experience. + Proven ability to **operate multiple machines** simultaneously. + Must be able to **wear a respirator** and comply with safety guidelines. + Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to **make machine adjustments** and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues. + Ability to **read and interpret technical documentation** and work instructions. + Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move materials (up to 50 lbs). + Ability to work in a **fast-paced environment** and meet production deadlines. **Preferred:** + Experience with **troubleshooting mechanical equipment** and performing basic repairs. + Familiarity with **SLI casting machines** or similar manufacturing equipment is a plus. + Experience working with quality control standards and measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers). **Employee Value Proposition (EVP)** + **Low overtime** and **rotating overtime** between team members based on production needs. + **Direct hire** position with a stable, growing company. + **Starting pay: $22.20** per hour, with opportunities for pay increases at regular intervals. + **Pay increases** every 6 months: + **6-month increase:** $23.30 + **12-month increase:** $24.10 + **18-month increase:** $24.90 + **Shift differential** : $1 additional per hour for second and third shifts. + **Weekend premium** : Additional 50 cents per hour for weekend shifts. + Annual wage increases: The company has consistently provided **annual wage increases** (around $1 per year) over the last 3 years. + Comprehensive benefits package including **health, dental, and vision insurance** , **401(k) with company match** , and **paid time off** . **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.20 - $23.20 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
