**Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to produce high-quality products. This role requires adherence to safety guidelines and the ability to perform basic machine operations and upkeep. **Responsibilities** + Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction. + Perform basic operation of equipment to produce to rate and meet quality standards. + Set up and operate forming, deburring, and heading machines to create sleeves or other products. + Monitor machine operations to determine whether adjustments are necessary; stop machines when problems occur. + Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and orderly workstation and perform basic machine upkeep. + Perform lubing, bluecoat, gritblast, sleeve washing, or packaging as needed. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read and write English. + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, and procedure manuals. + Ability to use math skills to solve problems. + At least 1 year related experience or equivalent combination of experience and training. + Knowledge of shop practices and procedures. + Ability to read blueprints. + Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with part marking, warehouse operations, production, machine operation, and inspection. + Familiarity with bellcoat/thermal epoxy application. + Must have a hairless face for proper respirator fit. **Why Work Here?** This role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, based on the Company's performance. Shifts available are 3rd shift (8pm to 4:30am or 10pm to 6:30am). There is also a temporary shop laborer position available, ending mid-January 2025. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tukwila, Washington. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
