**Job Title: Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating various machines including Punch, Farming, and CNC machines. You will need to move quickly to meet quotas while maintaining high-quality standards. You will also be responsible for assembling parts, loading and offloading paint line parts, using small power tools, and helping with cleaning and organizing tasks.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate Punch, Farming, and CNC machines.
+ Read tape measures using 1/16" and 1/32" increments.
+ Meet production quotas while maintaining quality.
+ Assemble parts and load/offload paint line parts.
+ Utilize small power tools, including drills, electric screwdrivers, and staple guns.
+ Assist with cleaning, mopping, and organizing.
+ Move small parts on wheeled carts.
+ Perform basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
**Essential Skills**
+ Ability to read tape measures using 1/16" and 1/32" increments.
+ Experience with Punch, Farming, and CNC machine operation.
+ Ability to move quickly to meet quotas while maintaining quality.
+ Ability to assemble parts and load/offload paint line parts.
+ Experience with small power tools such as drills, electric screwdrivers, and staple guns.
+ Ability to help with cleaning, mopping, and organizing.
+ Ability to move small parts on wheeled carts.
+ Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations.
+ High school diploma or GED, or 3 months of related experience and/or training.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
+ Previous experience with machine operation.
+ Ability to write simple correspondence.
+ Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations.
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Good job tenure.

**Work Environment**
You will work in a traditional manufacturing shop environment with up to 100 employees. The shop is clean and organized, with a moderate noise level and some exposure to fumes or airborne particles. The structure is assembled in sections, known as 'cells.' The first shift operates from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of overtime based on the season.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Altamont, Illinois
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $16.64 - $18.64
