**Machine Operator (nightshift) - Tukwila, WA** **Pay: $22/hour** **Job Description** Aerotek on behalf of its client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator. In this role, you will work safely under functional safety guidelines, perform basic operations of equipment to meet production and quality standards, and ensure the smooth operation of forming, deburring, and heading machines. **Responsibilities** + Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction. + Perform basic operation of equipment to produce to rate and meet quality standards. + Set up and operate forming, deburring, and heading machines to create sleeves or other products. + Monitor machine operations to determine whether adjustments are necessary; stop machines when problems occur. + Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and orderly workstation and perform basic machine upkeep. + Perform lubing, bluecoat, gritblast, sleeve washing, or packaging as needed. **Essential Skills** + Experience in part marking, warehouse, production, and machine operation. + Ability to set up and operate machines to form, deburr, and head work pieces to specification. + Familiarity with bellcoat/thermal epoxy application. + Ability to operate the bluecoat machine. + General production and inspection skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + The ability to read and write English. + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, and procedure manuals. + Mathematical skills to solve problems. + At least 1 year related experience or equivalent combination of experience and training. + Knowledge of shop practices and procedures, ability to read blueprints, and ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments. **Why Work Here?** This role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter.
