Job Description
As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in the metals manufacturing process. You will operate machinery that cuts large coils of metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and steel into smaller coils or large sheets. Initially, you will start as a packer, responsible for packaging the final product and learning to operate the machine. After 90 days, you will have the opportunity to join the Union and apply for the Machine Operator title, which includes a pay increase.
ResponsibilitiesOperate machinery to cut large coils of metal into smaller coils or large sheets.Use a crane to load large coils into the machine.Start by packaging the final product at the end of the machine line.Cross-train in forklift and overhead crane operations.Adhere to safety standards and ensure proper handling of materials.Participate in the crating area to make crates for the products.Essential SkillsPast experience in manufacturing.Willingness to work required overtime.Comfortable working in metal manufacturing with large metal coils.Basic English knowledge (Bi-lingual is acceptable).Why Work Here?

Employees receive a bi-weekly gain share bonus tied to machine production, a $100 quarterly attendance bonus, and a $375 quarterly safety bonus. The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $23.50
