Job Title: Machine Operator

Job DescriptionIn the weaver operator position, you will be in charge of making circuit looms, bombing the yarn, and ensuring the quality of the product.You will also be responsible for picking counts and identifying any defects or anomalies in the fabric, as the machine will not work when there are defects.You will flag down the fixer apprentices if a quality issue is identified.You will primarily work on the air jet loom and Rapier loom, with opportunities to work in the carbon room for additional compensation and grow into other roles within the company.ResponsibilitiesSet up the weaver machineThread needles by handEnsure attention to detail in all tasksInspect products to ensure patterns are correctEssential SkillsAttention to detailAbility to walk 4-7 miles and stay on feet to patrol3+ years of machine operating experienceWork EnvironmentThe schedule follows a 7a-7p 2x2x3 pattern, on B shift.This role requires being on your feet and patrolling for 4-7 miles.The company provides a supportive environment with a focus on quality and technological advancement.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.49 - $19.49
