Priority Personnel is seeking a 2nd shift Machine Operator for a manufacturing company located in San Marcos, TX. 

Pay rate: $17/hr with $1 shift differential 

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri/2:00pm-10:30pm (2nd shift) 

Job Duties:

Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production order Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed Feed raw material or parts to manual or semi-automated machine Inspect parts with precision measuring tools Test operation of machines periodically Fix and/or report issues that might occur during the shift Verify output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws Keep records of approved and defective units and/or final products Maintain daily logs/records Follow all safety rules, assure others follow safety rules and correct or report any safety issues immediately

Requirements:

Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.) Understanding of production procedures, manufacturing specifications, etc. Basic computer skills for e-mail, record keeping and to access job related work instructions Ability to read and write English. High school diploma or equivalent
