Machine Operator
**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** Candidates will be overseeing the production and making of PVC pipes. You will enter the quantity into the machine, which will then produce the pipes. Candidates will bundle and package the pipes, securing them into place. You will also be responsible for measuring and checking the quality of the pipes using calipers before they are moved to the yard. Additionally, employees will sporadically check the weight percentage of the pipes and may need to adjust the machine as required. **Responsibilities** + Oversee the production and making of PVC pipes. + Enter quantities into the machine to start production. + Bundle, package, and strap the pipes securely. + Measure and check the quality of the pipes using calipers. + Check the weight percentage of the pipes periodically. + Adjust the machine as needed. **Essential Skills** + 6 months of experience in a manufacturing/production facility. + Experience in machine operating. + Proficiency in using a tape measure. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in extruding/molding. + Experience with micrometers and calipers. + Experience in packaging and quality control. **Why Work Here?** This position offers a dynamic and engaging work environment with opportunities for hands-on experience in a key manufacturing process. The environment is consistently loud and can get a bit dusty. There are approximately 20 people on each shift. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and ear plugs. The facility operates on a rotating shift schedule with day and night shifts.
