**Machine Operator | Bolingbrook, IL** **1st & 2nd Shift Available | $18-$19/hr** **Overview** We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting bars of steel with an automated saw, loading materials with a crane, inputting size specifications into the machine, verifying sizes, and offloading cut bars onto pallets using a crane. The typical schedule will be 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM on 1st shift ($18hr) and 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM on 2nd shift ($19hr). If interested in this position, then please apply and an Aerotek Recruiter will reach out. **Responsibilities** + Operate automated saw to cut bars of steel. + Load materials using a crane. + Input size specifications into the machine. + Verify the size of cut bars. + Offload cut bars onto pallets using a crane. + Perform various tasks including cleaning the shop, polishing welds, building crates, counting inventory, and moving items through the shop. **Skills** + Experience with machine operation, specifically in metals. + Experience operating a saw and/or automated saw preferred. + Experience in a fabrication or metalworking shop is a plus. + Ability to measure and read a tape measure. + Proficiency with hand and power tools. + Ability to lift 50 lbs. **Why Work Here?** Join a growing company that has recently expanded to this location, marking a significant investment for 2024.
