Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team on the 2nd shift. This is a contract-to-hire position with a duration of 520 hours. Initial training will be provided during the 1st shift. The position involves operating roll form machines, performing quality inspections, and participating in various warehouse duties.
ResponsibilitiesSet up equipment off-line, including setups, changeovers, and first-off inspections.Perform first-off inspections of all runs on the line.Utilize all tools used for inspection and measurement.Operate roll form machines and receive training for the same.Drive a forklift and load trucks.Perform inventory counts.Read prints and setup instructions.Conduct quality inspections.Operate an overhead crane.Document inspected parts by hand.Fill out inspection reports with high attention to detail.Follow lockout/tagout procedures rigorously.Assist in shipping and warehouse duties.Cross-train and rotate through various job functions daily.Essential SkillsAbility to read a tape measure and blueprints or work instructions.High attention to detail and documentation experience.At least 1 year of machine operating and setup experience.Willingness to work 10-hour shifts.Mechanical aptitude, including experience with tow motors and overhead cranes.Basic math skills, including converting fractions to decimals and reading metrics.Additional Skills & QualificationsSteel toe boots are required.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00
