Machine Operator

A client of insight global is seeing an experienced Machine Operator who has used stencil printing, pick and place machines and reflow ovens.
Summary:
Under close direction of experienced operators or a Production Team Leader, operates the SMT/placement equipment and/or other equipment to perform the tasks necessary to manufacture PCBAs and/or systems.
Position Responsibilities
Reads and follows assembly prints, work instructions, drawings, procedures and specifications used in the manufacture of PCBs and/or systems.
Use manual/semi-automatic/automatic solder paste stencil machine.
May be certified to operate a limited number and variety of basic machines in production.
Responds to written and verbal instructions.
Adhere to ESD and company safety requirements.
Obtains certifications on assigned equipment.
Maintains a clean work environment and follows all company policies and practices regarding safety and material handling.
Use cross-reference tools available to identify part numbers, descriptions, and vendor; Recognize all part markings including speed and values (ohms)
Assists with line changeover
Identifies feeder by size and type required by the SMT Equipment
Removes hazardous waste at the end of each shift and put in waste storage area, check to see that labels are present and closes containers when not in use.
Routine light duty maintenance. Continuously maintains a clean machine.
May be involved with hazardous waste handling duties.
$20/hr to $25 /hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
