**Machine Operator** **Pay: $23.25- 24.25/Hour** **Shift: 4AM-4:30PM M-TH** **Location: Auburn, WA** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating machinery, including band saws and forklifts, to cut and process metal materials according to customer orders. Attention to detail, safety, and accuracy are crucial in this fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities** + Operate band saws to cut steel and other materials. + Operate sit-down forklifts for material handling. + Read and interpret tape measures accurately. + Perform visual quality control checks. + Apply metal to customer orders and process material according to work order specifications. + Maintain processing equipment in a safe and clean condition. + Keep the processing area clean, safe, and orderly. + Accurately complete all required information entry. + Perform additional tasks as assigned. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Strong attendance and work history with regards to tenure. + Experience in metal fabrication, especially in the aerospace industry. + Comfortable working in a warehouse environment. + Ability to work on your feet for extended periods. + Proficient with paperwork and maintaining chain of custody. **Why Work Here?** This position offers job stability within the aerospace industry, with a clear path to permanent employment after a 90-day temp-to-hire period. Once hired full-time, employees on 2nd shift receive an additional $1 per hour, and 3rd shift employees are paid for 40 hours while working 36 hours. The company provides comprehensive training, starting with classroom instruction and pairing new hires with experienced trainers to ensure they are well-prepared for the job. **Work Environment** You will be working in a large raw material supplier facility where materials are stored, cut, and shipped to customers. The environment is fast-paced, with over 60 employees on the floor. Initial training includes classroom sessions followed by hands-on training with an experienced operator.
