Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator with experience in labeler operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing filler and filler line changeovers, making necessary adjustments, preparing equipment for size changes, and monitoring the quality of packaging. You will also be responsible for analyzing process data to improve quality and throughput, preparing case labels, and ensuring product labels are accurate.
ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor labeler machinery, watching for jams and effectively threading wrap to prevent downtime.Perform filler and filler line changeovers safely and efficiently.Adjust filler timing and filling as needed.Prepare equipment for next run, including size changes as necessary.Analyze process and equipment performance data to troubleshoot and improve quality and throughput.Monitor weights, seals, caps, and general packaging of the product.Prepare and review case labels for accuracy.Essential Skills1+ years of machine operating experience6+ months of experience using a tape measure6+ months of computer operation experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience working on cars or other equipment (e.g., lube technicians)Mechanically inclinedExperience with hand tools and mechanical inspectionWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment includes a manufacturing and production setting where you may be exposed to high/precarious places, moving machinery, temperature and humidity changes, dust, odors, and fumes. The environment can be loud. Blending positions require working outdoors year-round, climbing railcars, and attaching large hoses to railcars. Packaging positions are indoors, with hot temperatures in the summer and normal temperatures in the winter. Responsibilities include inspecting packaging machines, making minor adjustments, and performing lockout/tagout procedures. The team size is about 90 people per shift. The dress code includes shorts or jeans, a clean work shirt, and steel-toe (or composite) shoes.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $19.75
