**Job Title: Machine operator** **Job Description** This position will be supporting the assembly of circuit boards and small electronics, and will involve operating light machinery. The position follows detailed procedures to process parts using necessary tools and equipment to meet production requirements, adhering to quality and productivity standards. **Responsibilities** + Safely operate drills and equipment as assigned to finish product according to specifications. + Use hand tools safely. + Communicate frequently with team regarding concerns, discrepancies, and continuous improvement ideas. + Follow safe work practices at all times. + Maintain a clean, organized work station. + Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager. **Essential Skills** + Experience in assembly, production, and manufacturing. + Ability to follow work instructions accurately. + Proficiency in soldering and electronic assembly. + Experience using hand tools and SMT (Surface Mount Technology). + 6 months to 1 year of machine operating experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Attention to detail. + Good communication skills. + Ability to work in a team environment. **Why Work Here?** Work in a temperature-controlled environment with a good work culture and an average employee tenure of over 5 years. Typical hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm or 5:30 pm to 4:00 am, totaling 40 hours per week. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of NICHOLASVILLE, Kentucky. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
