**Job title: Machine Operator** **Hartselle, AL** **Pay: $20HR-$25.50HR** **1st and 3rd shift opening** **Description:** Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to work in the cable manufacturing industry. The primary responsibilities will include operating rod mill machines and extruders, ensuring optimal machine performance, conducting preventive maintenance (PM), and assisting with the movement and loading of heavy materials. This position requires flexibility to work both 1st and 3rd shifts, with 12-hour shifts. Key Responsibilities: Operate rod mill machines and extruders to produce cables and related products according to specifications. Perform routine and preventive maintenance (PM) on machines to ensure optimal performance, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs. Assist in the physical loading of heavy materials into machines and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Monitor production quality and adjust machine settings as necessary to meet product specifications. Support troubleshooting and maintenance tasks as needed, working with maintenance teams to resolve issues. Maintain detailed logs of production runs, maintenance activities, and material usage. Ensure proper material handling and inventory management, assisting in material movement and storage as needed. Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
