**Job Title: Machine Operator**
**Shift : 2nd shift - 3pm -11pm**
**Job Description**
We are looking for a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team on the **2nd shift** . This is a contract-to-hire position with training provided on the 1st shift for a few weeks. The role involves working from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with some days extending to 1:00 AM. You will be responsible for setting up equipment, conducting inspections, operating machinery, and ensuring quality standards are met.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set equipment off-line, including setups, changeovers, and first-off inspections.
+ Conduct first-off inspections of all runs on the line.
+ Utilize all tools for inspection and measurement.
+ Train on operating roll form machines.
+ Drive a forklift and load trucks.
+ Perform inventory counts.
+ Read blueprints and prints.
+ Conduct quality inspections.
+ Operate overhead crane.
+ Perform handwritten documentation for inspected parts.
+ Read setup instructions and set up notes for roll formers, including reading prints/profiles and running specifications.
+ Fill out inspection reports with high attention to detail.
+ Follow lock-out/tag-out procedures meticulously.
+ Apply basic and advanced math skills, including converting fractions to decimals and reading metric measurements.
+ Assist in shipping and warehouse duties.
+ Work in a non-departmentalized environment with cross-training and daily job rotation.
**Essential Skills**
+ Ability to read tape measures and blueprints or work instructions.
+ High attention to detail and documentation experience.
+ At least 1 year of machine operating and setup experience.
+ Willingness to work 10-hour shifts.
+ Mechanical aptitude, including tow motor and overhead crane operation.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00

**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in Newton Falls,OH.
