Job Title: Molder Operator

Job Description

The Molder Operator prepares products for shipment by using a counter machine to ensure proper lineage feet are packed or by bundling and packaging moldings into cartons for shipping. This role involves the use of a blocking machine to cut finished molding into the desired length. The employee must understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to improve productivity and quality of the product.

ResponsibilitiesUse a counter machine to ensure proper lineage feet are shipped.Bundle moldings by taping the longer lengths at each end.Fold carton boxes around molding and secure with tape around boxes and ends.Attach labels for shipping.Block finished moldings into desired lengths and cut out defects.Essential SkillsExperience in machine operation, particularly with molding machines.Ability to understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).At least 1 year of prior machine operating experience.Ability to work from prints and perform simple machine setups.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The company operates in a wood-working environment, which can be hot in the summer and cool in the winter. Employees should be prepared to work in a dusty environment at times. The dress code includes jeans, a t-shirt, and safety glasses, which will be provided. The position is for the first shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime requiring 10-12 hour workdays.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00
