This role involves setting up equipment, monitoring the extrusion process, performing quality checks, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
ResponsibilitiesSet up equipment for production.Monitor the extrusion process to ensure proper operation.Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet standards.Ensure compliance with safety standards during all production activities.Essential SkillsExperience in production and general labor.Ability to use measuring tools and hand tools.Mechanical aptitude and packaging skills.Inspection and quality control experience.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsDependability and consistency in work.Effective communication for coordinating with team members and supervisors.Ability to identify defects and maintain consistency in production.
Work Environment
Extrusion Plastics manufacturing. 1 opening on 1st shift - Monday to Friday 8AM to 4:30PM. The company promotes a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to safety protocols and ensuring that employees have the necessary resources to perform their tasks effectively.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, Delaware.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00
