**Machine Operator** **Job Description** The facility manufactures bricks, paver stones, and cinder blocks. This role involves a lot of heavy lifting and requires individuals to be comfortable working on their feet for 10-12 hour days. The ideal candidate must have experience working in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently are essential. The work environment is enclosed but still exposed to elements, making it dirty, loud, and dusty. The summer season is particularly busy, so the workload will likely increase during this time. **Responsibilities** + Operate and manage machines for manufacturing bricks, paver stones, and cinder blocks. + Perform heavy lifting tasks as part of the production process. + Ensure attention to detail in all tasks to maintain high-quality standards. + Work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. + Adapt to multiple tasks and assignments as required. + Maintain a clean and organized work area despite the dirty and dusty environment. **Essential Skills** + 6 months of general labor experience and machine operation experience. + Proven reliability in working in a dirty and demanding environment. + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working outdoors is a plus. + Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks and jobs assigned. + No required education, certifications, or licenses. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic and fast-paced work environment where your skills and efforts are highly valued. The job requires independence with occasional supervision and consists of small teams on each shift. Steel-toe shoes/boots with metatarsal covers are required, with covers provided to contract employees and a $135 allowance towards a pair of boots when permanent. All other PPE, including vests, hard hats, eye-wear, and ear plugs, are provided. The shift is Monday to Friday, from 5:30 pm to 3:30 am. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Bonner Springs, Kansas **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
