**Job Description**
As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for running machines and moving parts on the work site. You will receive orders and ensure that parts are cut to specification, verifying proper sizing using a tape measure.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate machines and move parts on the work site
+ Receive orders and ensure parts are cut to specification
+ Check parts with a tape measure for proper sizing
+ Read and interpret part drawings and work orders
+ Operate CNC machines and overhead cranes
+ Use micrometers, calipers, and saws for part fabrication
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with machine operation
+ Ability to pass a tape measure test
+ Proficiency in reading part drawings
+ Crane operation experience
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Computer skills
+ Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)

**Work Environment**
The work environment is industrial and well-lit but not climate controlled, making it hot during the summer. It is loud with metal fabrication activities. The facility has large open doorways for air circulation. Shift options include first, second, and third shifts, as well as weekend shifts.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, Georgia.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00
