Job DescriptionAmcor is currently searching for individuals to join our Shelbyville Healthcare plant in Kentucky.
SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
12 Hour Straight Nights, Monday-Thursday running from 6:45pm – 7:00am. OT as needed.

WHAT MACHINE OPERATORS GET TO DO:
View work order and schedule to determine job set-up specifications and installation procedures.
Make sure all work order information is accurate before production.
Enter in measurements, and quality check specifications in production workbook.
Position and align film to glue sleeve for customer specifications.
Able to manipulate and adjust control settings for multiple operating conditions on machine.
Keeps up on preventative maintenance on machine to eliminate downtime and quality defects.
Able to cross train on multiple machines in and outside the lamination department.
Set up, slit, pack and wrap finished product.
Make sure all work order information is accurate before production.
Use of PPE and only Amcor provided tools.
Participates in scheduled cleaning on machine and in department.
Setting knife shaft for design changes.
Testing of dimensional characteristics as defined.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL ENTRY-LEVEL MANUFACTURING POSITIONS:
Ability to lift up to 50-60 lbs
Willing and able to stand and walk for a 12 hour shift
Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting
Frequent use of wrist and hands
Frequent stepping up and down from platforms
