**Aerotek is hiring for a Machine Operator!** **Pay: $16.50/hr (Higher pay offered based on experience)** **Location: Rochester, NY** **Job Description** The Machine Operator will load and run various machines within their designated area. Operators may be asked to move between multiple areas on the manufacturing floor to assist as needed. **Responsibilities** + Run inertia welder: loading and unloading parts, run the welding cycle + Demold: removing flash, trimming parts, and cleaning molds + Run grinder: load and unload parts, run the grinding cycle + Deburr, straighten, and clean parts + Wash and inspect parts for defects + Pack parts to prepare for shipping + Measure parts for critical dimensions using calipers, tape measure, indicator, etc. **Skills** + Experience in machine operation, production, loading, unloading + Ability to lift and move up to 40lbs + Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time + Attention to detail + Ability to work in teams or independently **Why Work Here?** We offer a clean, well-lit shop within an industrial work environment.
