Job Description
Under general supervision, the Fabricator I is responsible for producing high-quality fabricated parts utilizing various fabrication equipment.
ResponsibilitiesOperate basic fabrication equipment to produce parts.Read and understand procedures, safety sheets, instructions, and policies in English.Carry out verbal instructions and communicate verbally in English.Adhere to safety-related issues including good housekeeping and ergonomics practices.Participate in workplace organization and training procedures, including cross-training and teamwork.Maintain attention to detail and ensure quality and safety standards are met.Speak up and report any safety or quality issues.Learn new processes, systems, and equipment.Document work, participate in team concepts, and perform basic preventative maintenance.Work well in a team setting, participate in cross-functional teams, and resolve conflicts.Show motivation to grow, learn, and progress to the next level in skills.Essential SkillsAbility to operate basic fabrication equipment.Ability to read and understand procedures, safety sheets, instructions, and policies in English.Ability to carry out verbal instructions and communicate verbally in English.Ability to adhere to safety-related issues including good housekeeping and ergonomics practices.Attention to detail and ability to ensure quality and safety standards are met.Ability to learn new processes, systems, and equipment.Skills in documentation, team concepts, and basic preventative maintenance.Ability to work well in a team setting, participate in cross-functional teams, and resolve conflicts.Motivation to grow, learn, and progress to the next level in skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Preferred experience in manufacturing.Quality training, incoming part quality, gage plan completion, and proper part loading.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This position requires the ability to lift/carry 10-50 lbs. frequently and may rarely require lifting/carrying 50-75 lbs. Job demands include prolonged stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and/or crawling as appropriate. You may need to reach, push, or pull to accomplish job accountabilities. The role requires hand grasp ability and coordination of hands and/or eye/hand/foot. Cognitive demands include visual discrimination/memory, auditory discrimination/memory, reading ability, independent decision-making, and retention of specific knowledge. The work environment may expose you to loud noises, and the operation of machinery is required. Safety glasses, steel toe shoes, and hearing protection must be worn in designated areas. Proper respirators and other equipment are necessary in the paint booth area. The shift is from 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00
