Machine Operator
**Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for performing various aspects of assembly and machine operation tasks to ensure the accurate and efficient production of our products. **Responsibilities** + Perform aspects of assembly. + Use computers to close out and reprint manufacturing orders. + Read job manufacturing orders to determine belt specifications. + Calculate spec cards accurately. + Perform wire bend tests correctly and at designated times for each machine. + Read and use tape measures. + Operate and observe machines to detect work piece defects or machine malfunctions. + Measure wire dimensions to determine the accuracy of machine operations. + Monitor quality by checking twists, bow, curve, edges, length, number of spans, belt tightness, sponge, pitch, and parallel. + Perform minor machine maintenance such as lubrication of moving parts and cleaning or replacing broken components. + Move finished stacks to designated areas. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in machine operation and general production tasks. + Ability to read and interpret job manufacturing orders and specifications. + Competency in using computers to manage manufacturing orders. + Knowledge of measuring tools such as tape measures. + Experience in performing quality checks and monitoring machine operations. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma is required if the candidate does not have experience. + High School Diploma is not required for candidates with 3+ years of relevant experience. + Preferred: Any production or machine operating experience. + Open to candidates with good work experience in other industries if they have a genuine interest in manufacturing and ability to learn quickly. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a generous benefits package, room for advancements, and pay increases. The facility is climate-controlled but can feel slightly warmer due to the molding machines. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.22 - $21.22 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
