Machine Operator
**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** The machine operator in the Production department will safely produce and finish quality cast molded products. This role requires working on a fixed third shift or rotating between first and second shifts. Weekend work is mandatory when needed in all departments, although typically a new employee will not work mandatory weekends until they have reached a certain level of training. **Responsibilities** + Cut GEP materials to within specified tolerances and according to SOPs. + Measure product using tapes, micrometers, and verniers. + Visually inspect product. + Maintain accurate work documentation. + Read and follow schedule and manufacturing order instructions. + Maintain a safe and orderly working environment. + Operate other GEP Cast second ops equipment as needed. **Essential Skills** + 1-3 years of industrial/manufacturing experience. + Ability to measure 16th of an inch. + Ability to lift 50+ lbs. + Experience with machine operation. + Computer and hand documentation skills. + High School Diploma or GED. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with table saws, extrusion, overhead crane, CNC, micrometer. + Mechanical aptitude. + Computer navigation ability. + Dedicated to the concept of an injury-free environment. + Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and process flow. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.72 - $22.72/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
