**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** The role requires technical operation, set-up, and adjustments of machinery under the guidance of a Production Supervisor or Lead Person. **Responsibilities** + Correlate production tallies with the Production Supervisor. + Manage packaging operations. + Handle processing operations. + Maintain clear, open, and positive communication with the Supervisor and/or Lead Person. + Follow company-established Sanitation/Quality Assurance/HACCP and GMP procedures. + Comply with company and OSHA safety policies. + Maintain cleanliness of the work area and machinery, performing specified cleaning at the end of product runs and shifts. + Oversee production workers' end-of-shift sanitation duties. + Offer suggestions to management on improving efficiency, safety, and working conditions. + Perform and record hourly metal detector checks, package verification checks, and weight checks. + Ensure lot traceability and assist in inventory control as requested. + Maintain flexibility to perform other duties as needed, such as working in various production roles. **Skills** + Fundamental knowledge to read work-related material and follow directions. + Working knowledge of assigned areas, typically acquired through 1 to 4 years of applicable experience. + Understanding of mechanical components and/or electronic controls of the equipment. + Knowledge of chocolate composition and function and/or troubleshooting. + Positive and effective verbal/written communication skills. + Ability to perform as a team member and support co-workers, company policy, and production standards. **Pay Rate ranges from $16-$20 per hour.** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $33280.00 - $41600.00/yr. TBD - we are waiting for the company to provide the specifics of their benefits packages.
