**Job Title: Machine Operator ($19/hr.+)** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator for our 2nd shift. This is a contract-to-hire position with a duration of 520 hours. Training will be provided on the 1st shift for a few weeks before transitioning to the 2nd shift. The working hours will be from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with some variation. **Responsibilities** + Set equipment off-line, including setups, changeovers, and first-off inspections + Conduct first-off inspections of all products run on the line + Utilize all tools for inspection and measurement + Operate roll form machines after training + Drive a forklift and load trucks + Perform inventory counts + Read blueprints and setup instructions + Conduct quality inspections + Operate an overhead crane + Document parts that are inspected by hand + Fill out inspection reports with a high level of detail + Follow lockout/tagout procedures + Perform basic and advanced math calculations, including converting fractions to decimals and reading metrics + Assist in shipping and warehouse duties + Participate in a non-departmentalized work environment where cross-training is common **Essential Skills** + Ability to read a tape measure and blueprints or work instructions + High attention to detail and experience with documentation + At least 1 year of machine operating and setup experience + Willingness to work 10-hour shifts + Possession of steel toe boots + Mechanical aptitude, including the ability to operate a tow motor and overhead crane **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with calipers and micrometers + Ability to follow detailed setup notes and instructions + Familiarity with quality inspection procedures **Why Work Here?** We offer a competitive benefits package, including bonuses based on production metrics and company performance. This location is a Tier 2 supplier for major data centers and is recession-proof. We focus on producing high-quality parts with zero safety violations for the past three years. We have a core group of 23 employees and are expanding to build out a 2nd shift. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
