Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Machine Operators to join our team. This role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development. You will be responsible for operating presses and mixing equipment, performing quality inspections, and maintaining a clean workspace. The positions available are for the afternoon shift, with initial training on the first shift.
ResponsibilitiesOperate presses and perform molding tasks in the molding department.Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.Visually inspect products for quality assurance.Load and unload rubber into machines.Train to work in several departments.Stand at one machine for the majority of the shift performing repetitive tasks.Reach into machines to load and unload products.Use hands extensively for loading, lifting, and packaging products of awkward sizes.Transport material to the next station in the manufacturing process.Complete production tickets, press production sheets, and downtime sheets.Pick up and sweep scrap materials.Stand, walk, bend, and twist for more than 80% of the workday.Set up and operate mixing equipment.Load and unload materials into milling machines.Produce and prep raw material based on batch tickets.Utilize computers to check scales, loaders, mills, and vacuum hoists.Inspect materials for defects and inconsistencies.Complete documentation and paperwork.Drive tow motor.Maintain a clean work environment by sweeping and cleaning.Essential SkillsAbility to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.Experience working in a non-temperature controlled environment.Ability to read and follow work instructions.Willingness to work 60 hours a week.No facial piercings or ability to remove them.Possession of steel toe boots.At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing and machine operating.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with general production and press operation.Ability to perform packaging and work on a production line.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding. The Middlefield Plant has 104 employees on the plant floor, with a goal to increase to 160. Presses operate at 300 degrees, and the facility is not temperature controlled, making it very hot despite fans running 24/7. This is a Permanent position based out of Middlefield, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $50000.00/yr.
$2,000 sign on bonus - paid out $500 every 90 days
