Machine Operator. Enjoy an amazing shift with built-in overtime and a 3-day weekend every week.
ResponsibilitiesReview work orders, product specifications, and special instructions to ensure thorough understanding of production requirements. Ask for clarification if needed.Assist in loading and setting up machines in accordance with instructions.Follow specifications to mix chemical/adhesive solution specified in work order, and safely pump solution into machine.Monitor production process closely to quickly identify any quality issues. Stop production run immediately if problems are detected, and alert machine operator II and/or production manager.Operate up to two machines competently and assist in operating additional machines as needed.Follow all instructions given by machine operator II or production manager and ask questions when necessary.Identify all finished products with accurate part number, work order number, lot number, and any other information required to effectively identify the product.Identify equipment problems and inform maintenance and/or production manager.Make suggestions to improve quality, efficiency, safety, or communication.Verify that the final product produced meets quality standards and product specifications.Follow all safety practices and immediately correct or report unsafe conditions. Work Environment
The facility specializes in making coatings and adhesives, including non-slip walkways, skateboard friction tape, and emergency exit signs. The Lake Bluff location mass produces materials that are then shipped to another location for customer order measurement and shipment. The machines used are very large, about the size of a semi-truck trailer. The facility has a strong chemical smell due to the adhesives manufactured.
Pay: 20$
Time: 6am-6pm(Monday-Thursday)

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
