**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The role involves basic setup and operation of various machines, hand tools, and pneumatic tools. This equipment is used to deburr, slot, drill, and cut aluminum metal. The position offers different responsibilities depending on the shift. The 1st shift focuses more on deburring and basic machine operation, while the 2nd shift requires more experienced CNC operation. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate various machines, hand tools, and pneumatic tools. + Deburr, slot, drill, and cut aluminum metal using the specified equipment. + Clock on and off jobs accurately using an electronic clocking system. + Read and understand manufacturing orders. + Use and read various types of measuring equipment. + Operate hand tools, tooling fixtures, and machines such as saws, grinders, drills, drill presses, belt sanders, slotters, and shears. + Perform additional duties as assigned. + Maintain punctuality and reliability. **Essential Skills** + Experience in machine shop operations. + Ability to read and understand manufacturing orders. + Proficiency in using and reading various types of measuring equipment. + Experience in operating hand tools, tooling fixtures, and machines. + Ability to clock on and off jobs accurately in an electronic clocking system. + Punctuality and reliability. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with deburring, cutting metal, saw operation, milling machine, CNC mill, and calipers. **Why Work Here?** We offer a supportive work environment with opportunities for growth and development. Footwear that meets the ANSI Z41 standard with a steel or composite toe is also required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burbank, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
