**Machine Operator** **Pay: $23-24/Hour** **Location: Auburn, WA** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating machinery to cut and process steel materials. The ideal candidate should have experience with band saws, forklifts, and quality control processes. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. **Responsibilities** + Operate a band saw to cut steel materials accurately. + Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently. + Read and interpret tape measures for precise measurements. + Perform visual quality control checks to ensure materials meet specifications. + Apply metal to customer orders and process materials according to work order specifications. + Maintain processing equipment in a safe and clean condition. + Keep the processing area clean, safe, and organized. + Accurately complete all required information entries. + Perform other tasks as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience using a band saw. + Ability to operate a sit-down forklift. + Proficiency in reading a tape measure. + Strong attention to detail. + Ability to perform visual quality control. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in metal fabrication and aerospace industries. + Strong attendance and work history with regards to tenure. + Comfortable working in a warehouse environment. **Why Work Here?** We offer job stability in the aerospace industry with a clear path to full-time employment after 90 days. The environment is fast-paced with over 60 employees on the floor. The first week on the job involves classroom training, followed by hands-on training with an experienced operator. Our facility is located in Auburn, WA, with operations in multiple buildings. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, Washington. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.25 - $24.25/hr.
