**Job Title: Production Technician** **Job Description** We are now hiring for Production Technicians in Biddeford, ME. In this role, you will be operating machines using a PLC interface. This position requires a lot of attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn. Operators will also be required to do some assembly, grinding, and polishing of finished materials. This opportunity is contract-to-hire with room for growth. 1st shift and 2nd shift opening's. Schedule: Monday to Friday **Responsibilities** + Operate machines using a PLC interface + Perform assembly, grinding, and polishing of finished materials + Ensure high attention to detail in all tasks + Apply mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and resolve issues + Maintain a willingness to learn and adapt to new processes **Essential Skills** + General labor experience + Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues + Production and assembly experience + Experience with lathe operations + Attention to detail + Mechanical aptitude **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment + Critical thinking skills + Ability to measure and read a tape measure + Basic troubleshooting skills or experience + Ability to work on feet for the duration of the shift + Previous experience of at least 1 year required + Lathe experience preferred **Why Work Here?** We offer a work environment that fosters growth and development. This position does not require any certifications or medical requirements. The available shifts are 2nd shift from 3-11pm and 1st shift from 7-3pm. Training on the 1st shift will be required for approximately 3 weeks. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
