**Urgently Hiring Machine Operator's for Cable Manufacturing Company in Florham Park, NJ - All Shifts Available** **Pay:** $25+/hour ; Overtime: $37.50+/hour (a lot of overtime offered) **Shifts Available:** 1st Shift: 6am-2:30pm 2nd Shift: 2:00pm-10:30pm Overnight Shift: 10:00pm-6:30am **Location:** Florham Park, NJ **Job Description** You will operate and run cable manufacturing equipment, primarily monitoring the running and quality of the cable produced. Once fully trained, you will operate 1-2 cells independently. Responsibilities include setting up equipment, inputting order specifications into a computer, troubleshooting equipment, and refilling material for cable coating. **Responsibilities** + Operate and run cable manufacturing equipment. + Monitor the running and quality of cable production. + Operate 1-2 cells independently once fully trained. + Set up equipment and input order specifications into the computer. + Troubleshoot equipment during operation or breakdowns. + Refill material that coats the cables. **Essential Skills** + Machine operation experience + Hand tool proficiency + Ability to operate a forklift + Machine safety knowledge + Troubleshooting skills + Inspection capabilities + Mechanical aptitude + Power tool usage + Machine maintenance experience **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma + 1-3 years of experience and/or training within a process-focused manufacturing center + Experience related to the production of finished products and/or wire and cable + Exposure to lean/Six Sigma methodologies + Experience interpreting specification sheets and job instructions + Ability to become forklift certified (certification provided on-site) + Basic Windows operating skills + Experience using SAP database software (preferred) + Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations and calculate percentages + Ability to plot data on graphs **Why Work Here?** Join a growing company with excellent internal benefits. It is a fast-paced manufacturing environment where you will have a paid lunch break and can eat on the production floor. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr.
