**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are currently looking to bring on additional machine operators into our facility. This position will include extensive training, regular check-ins with your production manager to go over manufacturing checklists, and exposure to the engineering team to ensure your success. **Responsibilities** + Work off of work orders, learn processes for each individual customer, and ensure KPIs are met. + Use micrometers and calipers to ensure the product meets quality standards. + Perform minor preventative maintenance work on machinery, including oiling of machines. + Utilize a computer to track raw material usage. + Inspect pieces for defective materials and any unusual conditions. **Essential Skills** + Frequent mobility and ability to lift up to 50lbs. + Knowledge of mathematics, including using decimals, fractions, and measuring. + Comfortable operating multiple machines simultaneously. + Experience in manufacturing or mechanically inclined positions preferred. + Comfortable using a computer. + Skills in machine operation, inspection, and troubleshooting. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Candidates must have a stable work history. + Open-minded approach to learning new skills. + Willingness to be trained on our machinery. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a wellness program that rewards individuals who lead the way in weight loss challenges, including gym memberships and Apple Watches. There are seven departments, each dealing with separate processes of production. We have a diverse culture, though some areas of the facility can be louder than others. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Turners Falls, Massachusetts. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.58 - $21.58/hr.
