**Job Title: Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
Set up and operate plastic braiding machines to produce industrial hoses. Inspect the finished product for quality, adjust machine settings to obtain proper quality, and monitor gauges and machine operation to ensure production flows smoothly. The current opening is on the night shift from 8 pm-4:30 am, Monday-Friday.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up plastic braiding machines to produce industrial hoses.
+ Operate machines efficiently to meet production targets.
+ Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
+ Adjust machine settings to maintain proper product quality.
+ Monitor gauges and machine operation to ensure smooth production flow.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in machine operation in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
+ Mechanical inclination and ability to troubleshoot machinery.
+ Ability to perform assembly, general labor, and production tasks.
+ Proficiency in inspecting products for quality control.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Hands-on work experience in production, manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or construction is highly desirable.
+ No specific experience is required to be considered for these openings.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a smaller shop that is generally clean but can be noisy in some areas due to machines that make plastic tubes. While it is an industrial setting, it maintains a pretty clean atmosphere.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, Oregon.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
