Job Description
The production operator will work on plastic parts produced by injection mold machines, preparing the product for further processing. This role involves standing, walking, and bending throughout production hours, as well as repetitively lifting weights ranging from 5 to 20 lbs. The operator will use various tools for cutting, gripping, shaving, and trimming parts to meet specifications. Responsibilities also include reporting any defects, labeling products, packing them into boxes, maintaining inventory, and keeping the work area clean. The operator must be able to work in all climate temperatures and complete necessary paperwork throughout the shift.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare production materials throughout the day.Use various tools to cut, grip, shave, and trim parts.Trim and cut excess plastic to smooth out and meet specifications.Report any defects.Place labels on products before stacking and palletizing.Pack products into boxes.Maintain inventory.Keep the work area clean.Work in all climate temperatures during every season.Keep records of daily activities and complete paperwork throughout the shift.Essential SkillsExperience with stacking, labeling, extrusion, and machine operation.Experience with production, material handling, cutting, trimming, and labeling.Additional Skills & QualificationsGeneral production experience.Experience in machine operation and manufacturing.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This role is within a plastic injection molding facility. You may work alone or within a team to complete tasks. The dress code includes jeans or long pants and steel-toed shoes. All necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.20/hr.
