Machine Operator
**Location:** Independence, OR **Job Type:** Full Time **Schedule:** Monday- Friday 5am-2:30pm, Must be willing to work overtime **Pay Rate:** $18.60 **Job Summary:** We are seeking a detail-oriented **Production Operator** to operate a computer-controlled production system for processing multiple raw material ingredients in a mix room. The ideal candidate will ensure production runs smoothly while maintaining performance and quality standards. This role also involves coordinating with heavy equipment operators, performing machine adjustments, conducting quality checks, and keeping the work environment clean and safe. **Key Responsibilities:** + Operate a computer-controlled production system to process raw materials. + Coordinate with material handlers and heavy equipment operators to ensure a steady flow of materials. + Monitor and maintain proper material levels in shakers (mixers) for continuous production. + Ensure the correct roll stock is used and properly placed on machines. + Make necessary machine adjustments to maintain production quality and efficiency. + Perform quality checks, including weighing and volume checks, to ensure standards are met. + Communicate with material handlers to adjust moisture levels or switch materials as needed. + Perform housekeeping duties, including sweeping and clearing accumulated materials to maintain a safe work area. + Complete production documentation accurately and in a timely manner. + Report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team. + Follow all safety procedures to ensure personal and team safety. **Requirements & Qualifications:** + Experience operating computer-controlled production systems (preferred). + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for most of the day. + Comfortable working in a dusty environment and varying weather conditions (hot, cold, rainy). + Ability to climb ladders and access elevated work areas. + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols. + Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English. + Willingness to work mandatory overtime, including weekends and holidays. **Why Join Us?** + Competitive pay and benefits. + Opportunities for career growth and development. + A team-oriented environment that prioritizes safety and efficiency.
