**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Machine Operator to set up, adjust, and operate packaging lines. The ideal candidate will start and observe machine operations, stop machines for malfunctions, and ensure quality checks on products. Responsibilities include inspecting products for correct packaging, complying with FDA, DEA, and OSHA regulations, and maintaining accurate documentation. The operator must follow GMP guidelines, solve problems, and have experience operating PLC control panels. The role requires the ability to lift 50+ lbs, perform data entry, and write neatly for reports. Be prepared to bring an extra pair of shoes for clean room work. The facility is a manufacturer and distributor of controlled substances and is monitored and regulated by the FDA and DEA. The schedule is 4pm-12:30am, Monday to Friday, with every other Saturday required. Must be willing to work overtime. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portage, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
