Our client, a manufacturing company specializing in production and distribution, is looking for a Machine Operator to join their team in Van Nuys, CA. This role involves operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting production machinery to ensure efficient and high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up machines, including calibration and cleaning, to start production cycles.Control and adjust machine settings (speed, parameters) for optimal performance.Feed raw materials or parts into semi-automated and fully automated machines.Inspect parts using precision tools to ensure quality standards.Perform periodic tests on machines to confirm proper functionality.Identify and report operational issues or production problems to leadership.Check finished products for defects and document any machine-related errors.Maintain accurate production records, including volume reports and quality assessments.

Requirements:

Previous experience operating high-speed machinery (experience with paper converting machines is a plus).Knowledge of production procedures and GMP standards is preferred.Familiarity with measurement tools (e.g., tape measure) for quality checks.Ability to adhere to health and safety regulations (PPE required: gloves, steel-toe boots, safety glasses).Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills.High school diploma or equivalent (technical degree is a plus).

Pay & Schedule:

Pay Rate: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour (based on experience).Shifts Available:Day Shift: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM (12-hour shift).Night Shift: 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM (12-hour shift).
