Job Description
The Machine Operator - Extrusion is responsible for operating extrusion machines to ensure efficient production of high-quality products. This position is available for the night shift, with initial training during the day shift for a few months before transitioning to the night shift. The role reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor, offers hourly pay, and includes significant overtime opportunities.
ResponsibilitiesProperly operate an extruder machine and any support equipment to produce quality product in a timely fashion.Familiarize with materials and tooling related to assigned work.Collaborate with Quality Control to maximize quality.Make process adjustments as needed.Maintain and clean the machine and related equipment, including tooling and surrounding area.Operate safely at all times.Familiarize with tooling for various work orders.Complete paperwork related to specific work orders.Essential SkillsProduction experienceMachine operation and operating skillsGeneral production knowledgeInspection skillsExperience with measuring tools, hand gauges, hand tools, blueprints, tape measures, calipersTroubleshooting skillsMechanical aptitudeAdditional Skills & QualificationsLight lifting requiredExperience using hand gauges for measurementWhy Work Here?

This is a Permanent position based out of Danbury, Connecticut.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
Full company benefits including holidays, PTO, lots of overtime. Family based business so they treat all employees like family.
