Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, performing light maintenance, and assisting with general cleaning and inspections. This role requires a mechanically inclined individual with the ability to handle various tasks throughout the day.

ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy equipment, including front-end loaders and CDL trucksPull 'the wall' in and out for 3 hours daily (1.5 hours at the start and end of the shift)Perform light maintenance, including pre-trip inspections and fluid changesWash machines and conduct general cleaning tasksAssist diesel technicians as neededUse hand and power tools for various tasksHandle downtime productivelyEssential SkillsExperience operating heavy equipment and CDL trucksStrong mechanical aptitudeAbility to use hand and power toolsProficiency in performing mechanical inspections and maintenanceAbility to read and understand schematicsAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredExperience with mechanical assembly is a plusWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

The role involves working both inside a warehouse and in traffic. Be prepared to work in various weather conditions, including hot and cold environments. The position requires the use of hand tools and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The day shift runs from 3am to 12:30pm with the possibility of approximately 10 hours of overtime per week if needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Garland,TX.
