**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** The Machine Operator will ensure that the machining duration meets the production requirements efficiently and safely. **Responsibilities** + Operate machinery as per the operating instructions and ensure efficient production processes. + Perform machine setups (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle. + Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed) to meet quality and efficiency standards. + Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines and ensure continuous supply without interruptions. + Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. + Test the operation of machines periodically to guarantee their smooth running. + Maintain activity logs and report on daily production volumes and quality. + Troubleshoot problems during machine operation and perform basic repairs and maintenance when necessary. + Keep work areas clean and organized to maintain a safe working environment. + Always adhere to safety guidelines and company regulations. + Communicate any machine malfunctions or irregularities to the immediate supervisor for timely resolution. + Monitor and manage inventory of materials and parts needed for machine operation. + Collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes. + Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with machine technology and operation techniques. + Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase production efficiency. + Have working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, tape measure etc.) and the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals. **Essential Skills** + Manufacturing experience + Ability to read a tape measure + Monitor machine producing equipment + Understanding of production procedures + Analytical skills and attention to detail + Ability to follow written and oral instructions + Familiarity with control operations and automated equipment + Basic computer and mathematical skills + Willingness to undergo on-the-job training + Proven experience as a machine operator + Ability to move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds + Ability to stand for long hours and perform repetitive tasks + Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and work overtime + Candidates must possess at least one year of experience in a Machine Shop **Pay & Shift** + 2nd shift: Monday to Friday, 1:30pm to 10pm (Will train on 1st shift for a few weeks) + Pay Range: $20-25 an hour based on experience + Direct Hire into Company **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $56160.00/yr.
