**Job Title: Machine Operator - 2nd and 3rd Shifts ($39,000-50,000/yr.+)** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled machine operators for our 2nd and 3rd shift positions. This role involves operating various equipment to assemble, build, and package products according to diagrams and specifications. You will also handle raw materials, perform quality checks, and ensure all products meet the required specifications. **Responsibilities** + Determine what, how, and the quantity to produce according to the daily/weekly production schedule. + Learn the proper use of measuring equipment to ensure all quality specifications are met. + Assemble, build, and package products according to diagrams and specifications utilizing various equipment. + Operate material handling and processing equipment required for production. + Learn and utilize the shop floor management system. + Operate hand and power tools as necessary. + Visually check workstations to ensure adequate supplies and restock as needed. + Transport materials to and from workstations using necessary material handling equipment. + Notify supervisors or material handlers when supplies are at reorder levels. + Test and inspect produced products to ensure they meet quality specifications. + Report any products that are outside of the specifications to proper supervision or quality personnel. + Follow non-conforming product procedures and rework items that do not meet quality standards. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 2 years of machine operator experience. + Ability to read and follow work instructions. + Experience with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP). + Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. + High school diploma or GED. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in a fast-paced production environment. + Longevity in work history. + Experience with CNC, punch press, brake press, and metal forming. + Must be open to travel for training purposes. **Why Work Here?** You will be part of the first wave of employees at our brand new, state-of-the-art 180,000 sq. ft. plant in Shalersville, Ohio. Post-training, only 2nd and 3rd shift positions are available, running from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm (Monday-Friday) and 11:00 pm to 7:00 am (Sunday-Thursday). Why work for Viega ? • Privately held, last month and turning 125 years old and putting a book together and videos and cool things and pay out monthly wage and 125%. • Hourly production PIP-Production Incentive Plan and departmental roles and pay out 1% each quarter and the last 2% based on company and last three years have paid out 150%. • All positions have bonus potential.
